i don't know what i'm doing

[ The past week or so has been incredibly rough on everyone involved, Vegeta and Trunks included. In particular, even, some might say. They've taken some time to recover and rest, but it's back to the grindstone to get some father-son bonding the only way Vegeta knows how! Training.

They've both fought bravely and become stronger, learning new techniques, nearly dying and recovering, dying and recovering and just plain getting the stuffing beaten out of them. Vegeta is proud of how his son has progressed, but that only means they can't afford to slack off now. Yes, Trunks, your reward for growing as a warrior and helping save the world is...

Three hundred times Earth's gravity, the second they enter the chamber. Enjoy.]

[ He hadn't been expecting three hundred times gravity all at once. He'd thought it would be like most of their training sessions--a gradual increase as they fought and trained, their bodies growing acclimated to the increased pressure over time.

So of course the force of it takes him by surprise, and he nearly gets pushed to the floor as soon as it hits him. He refuses to let gravity get the better of him, though, and fights it, forcing himself to stay upright despite the obvious strain on his body. He considers powering up very briefly--it would alleviate the pressure almost immediately, he knew--But he doesn't, opting instead to start slowly moving forward, throwing a few slow, shaky punches at the air to start, as his body grows accustomed to the pressure of the room.

He would get stronger without the aid of his Super Saiyan transformation, this time. He would fight with the same strength in this gravity, as he was now, and make Vegeta proud. ]

Heh. This is nothing.
