Now you're in a dense forest, a top a huge mountain. It might take a moment to notice, but it's actually part of a chain of mountains. There's a small town at the base, but that's a long, long walk. Better to appreciate the vibrant forest, the rushing rivers and the plentiful wildlife, yes? There's monkeys in the trees, fish in the river and the occasional pterodactyl in the sky. You might even come across an old man, friendly enough and seemingly unafraid of strangers. He's the only human you'll find on this mountain, as he'll happily tell you, but it's probably worth exploring anyway.

[ tail....... tail??!! he's going to assume that the tail on this creature is any point where a tail on a regular animal would be, and he does as she asks, holding onto it. ]

Yeah, I gave him some speech about memories being weights to make you stronger and he totally bought it! [Haha, no one wins against Gi-ne!!] You shouldn't say things you'll regret later, Tsurumaru, that's your own fault.

Mhm! But I think he'll get mad if I call it that. Anyway, I found him at a festival, and then after I yelled at him, he asked me to go with him, except he kind of stumbled all over his words, and it was really, really cute. He paid for a lot of the things, too.

I do!! Thanks, mom. [ he chews thoughtfully — it tastes like..... meat... not bad, not bad!! and if he were human and more familiar, he'd say it tastes like chicken. (but of course, he doesn't know that.)

OH... CLARINE... at that, he lets out a small laugh, hiding it behind the back of his hand. ] Ah, that sounds like something she'd convince him of. Why, what happened?

[ as he speaks, he unsheathes the sword at his side, neatly cutting off another thin slice for eating. as a tachi blade, it's a little too lengthy for this kind of task, but it's the only blade he has... and it's not that bad... really! ]
